TRANSFORMING THE FURNITURE INDUSTRY

SOLUTIONS WE PROVIDED

In partnership with SFIC Institute and supported by Workforce Singapore, Creativeans developed and conducts SFIC's Design Thinking Business Transformation Programme for the furniture industry and guides them through design thinking methodologies to create and enhance products, services, business processes, and business models alike.

Since the onset of COVID-19, this programme has helped over 40 companies within the furniture industry innovate and transform, allowing them to keep up with the ever-changing world. View our participants' testimonials here.

CREATIVEANS EDIT DESIGN THINKING
The programme commences with a customised design thinking workshop introducing businesses to design tools like our EDIT Design Thinking® methodology – Empathise, Define, Ideate, Test – that helps companies see how every element of their businesses model affects consumers and brand experience and design new business models, product and service innovations.

After Creativeans guides the participants through the 4 quadrants of our EDIT Design Thinking® methodology, they delve into one-on-one consultations over the next few weeks, and they work on a capstone project to consolidate and apply their learning.
DESIGN THINKING WORKSHOP
Facilitated by Creativeans' certified trainers, the one-day design thinking workshop introduces basic design thinking concepts and how to apply these concepts to their business. Businesses also get to discover customised tools developed by Creativeans to help generate ideas and ways to test and validate them. Additionally, participants are given the opportunity to network and interact, allowing them to exchange ideas and learn from each other.
IN-DEPTH CONSULTATIONS AND MENTORING

In the sessions thereafter, business owners and employees alike get to learn more design thinking practices that make possible the transformation of customer experience and implement job redesign in accordance with their business transformation plans.

 

Understanding customer insights through user journey mapping, crafting a good value proposition statement, and techniques on ideation and job redesign training are just some of the key takeaways of this programme.

 

Finally, the course wraps up with the participants’ final presentation on their implementation of projects using the knowledge they gained from this Design Thinking Business Transformation Programme.
